The Manucurist Top Coat Shimmery Silver lays a fine veil of silver glitter over your manicure while simultaneously sealing the nail polish with intense shine. The transparent base keeps the color underneath visible, while fine silver reflections catch the light - cool, elegant and subtly or strikingly sparkling depending on the base color.

Shimmery Silver changes an existing shade without covering it. On light nude, pink and milky shades, the silver glitter looks fine and almost icy; on blue, violet or dark colors, the cool light reflections stand out much more strongly. Even worn alone on the natural nail, the transparent top coat creates a subtle silver shimmer.

Effect & choosing the right top coat

Top Coat Shimmery Silver is a sealer and effect polish in one. It is applied as the final step over Green™ nail polish and replaces a classic top coat.

At Blanda, three Manucurist top coats are available for different looks:

Top Coat Gel Like / Sunshine: for pure mirror shine and a gel effect, without visually changing the shade.
Top Coat Shimmery Gold: for a warm veil of golden glitter.
Top Coat Shimmery Silver: for cool silver light reflections and a sparkling finish.

In short: Gel Like for pure high shine, Gold for warm reflections and Silver for cool sparkle.

The transparent formula contains fine light-reflecting effect particles and is made with 79.5% ingredients of natural origin according to ISO 16128. Hexanal and vitamin E complement the formula, while the top coat base seals the color and helps extend the manicure's wear.

Application

First apply a suitable Green™ base coat, followed by two thin coats of Green™ nail polish.
Allow each color coat to dry briefly.
Apply one thin coat of Top Coat Shimmery Silver evenly over the nail polish.
For a more intense glitter effect, a second thin coat can be applied.
Seal the free edge of the nail as well to better protect the manicure from premature chipping.
Then allow it to air-dry - no UV or LED lamp is required.
To remove, place a pad soaked in nail polish remover on the nail for a few seconds, then gently remove it. If glitter particles remain, repeat as needed.

FAQ

Is Top Coat Shimmery Silver transparent?
Yes. The base is transparent and contains fine silver-colored glitter particles. The color underneath remains visible.

Can I use it over any Green™ color?
Yes. The silver glitter looks different depending on the base color: finer and cooler on light shades, more contrasted and noticeably more sparkling on dark colors.

Do I still need Top Coat Gel Like underneath?
No. Shimmery Silver is itself a top coat and is used as the final polish step.

What is the difference compared with Shimmery Gold?
Silver creates cool, silver light reflections. Gold looks warmer and gives the manicure a golden shimmer.

What is the difference compared with Top Coat Gel Like?
Gel Like is transparent and designed for maximum mirror shine without an additional color effect. Shimmery Silver also seals the manicure, but adds visible silver glitter.

Can I wear Shimmery Silver on its own?
Yes. Applied directly to the natural nail, it creates a transparent look with a subtle silver sparkle.

Do I need a UV or LED lamp?
No. Shimmery Silver is part of the classic Green™ system and air-dries.

We carefully process and package your order in our warehouse in Reutlingen. Processing usually takes within 48 hours. As soon as your order has been handed over to the shipping service provider, you will receive a shipping confirmation with tracking. After handover to DHL, the shipping time within Germany is usually 1–3 business days.

The shipping costs 4.95€; for orders over 60€, we offer free shipping within Germany.

International orders are shipped depending on the destination country and package size with DHL International or Deutsche Post Warenpost International Premium. The available shipping methods and costs are shown at checkout. Shipping time depends on the destination country, chosen shipping method, and customs clearance.

Returns: You can return unopened, unused, and undamaged products within 14 days of delivery. For returns within Germany, we provide a return label for 5.95€ upon request. Returns from abroad must be organized and paid for by the customer.

We package carefully, lovingly, and environmentally friendly. The box, filling material, and greeting card are made from recycled paper, and even the packing tape can be disposed of in the paper recycling bin.
