The major advantage over a classic hair towel is its pre-shaped turban design: The hair can be wrapped with just a few simple movements, and the turban is secured using the loop and coconut button. It stays securely in place without requiring constant readjustment.

The turban is also very well suited to plopping. The curls rest compactly on the head and are less weighed down by their own weight while drying. This helps preserve their natural clumping for more definition, volume, and bounce.

The comparatively lightweight fabric was chosen deliberately. The turban absorbs excess water but is not intended to dry the hair completely as quickly as possible. This preserves a certain amount of residual moisture, which is particularly important for curls to remain soft, elastic, and defined.

How to use

After washing, apply leave-in conditioner, curl cream, or styling product to the wet hair as usual.

Place the hair turban over the hair with the wide side and loosely gather the curls inside it. Then carefully twist the tapered end. Make sure not to twist the curls themselves and do not wrap the turban either too loosely or too tightly.

Bring the twisted end toward the back of the head and fasten the loop to the coconut button. This keeps the turban securely in place without requiring constant readjustment.

Allow the hair to dry partially for about 15–30 minutes, then remove the turban. Finish drying the hair completely in the air or with a diffuser.
