During processing, the leather is mechanically tumbled, bringing out its surface texture and making it especially soft. The leather is tanned without chrome and has no synthetic surface coating. Its natural texture is preserved, and it can develop a unique patina over time. On the Kiki Mini in particular, the supple leather accentuates the soft gathers and the bag's distinctive shape.
