High-quality hemp seed oil gives this soap its incomparable, silky, nourishing lather. Lightly scented with a special blend of pure essential oils.

All Seifenmacher soaps are alkaline. With a pH value of 8.5, they match that of the amniotic fluid in which we are prepared for life in the womb.

These natural soaps cannot be compared with conventional soaps and shower gels. The main reasons are the artisanal production process and cold saponification. Soap is created through the reaction of lye (sodium hydroxide and potassium hydroxide solutions) and oil. Seifenmacher uses coconut oil and sunflower oil, as well as shea butter and cocoa butter. All these base ingredients are of food-grade quality and come from organic farming.

Soapmaker Beat Urech - at home in Arosa, at home in the world - understands the miraculous process of soapmaking, because as a trained pharmacist's assistant, he became familiar with glycerin, lyes and essential oils at an early age. The result is genuine Arosa natural soaps - for the face, body, hands, hair and soul.

It all starts with sodium hydroxide solution. Solid fats (coconut oil, cocoa butter and shea butter) are melted in the soap kettle, and liquid base oils such as sunflower oil are weighed out. The more precious essential oils and other natural ingredients (herbs, woods, spices) are carefully prepared for further processing.

The base oils and now-liquid fats are blended until, with the addition of lye at exactly 40 degrees Celsius, the much-discussed soap wedding takes place - congratulations! Through gentle clockwise stirring, the mixture slowly thickens and becomes “saponified.” The aromatic ingredients (essential oils, herbs, etc.) are gradually added - oh, what a fragrance!

The warm soap mixture is then poured into large soap molds, cooled with the help of Arosa's high-altitude climate and prepared for three days of storage. By hand, the soap block is cut into retail-sized pieces using metal guitar strings.

Using a self-built stamping machine, the Seifenmacher logo is stamped into the soaps. Like fine wine, the still-unwrapped soaps are stored for 30 days in spruce wood crates until they are prepared for their onward journey in the beautiful, 100% recyclable packaging.

How to use

Lather the soap lightly with water, wash your face and/or body with it, and rinse with warm water.

We carefully process and package your order in our warehouse in Reutlingen. Processing usually takes within 48 hours. As soon as your order has been handed over to the shipping service provider, you will receive a shipping confirmation with tracking. After handover to DHL, the shipping time within Germany is usually 1–3 business days.

The shipping costs 4.95€; for orders over 60€, we offer free shipping within Germany.

International orders are shipped depending on the destination country and package size with DHL International or Deutsche Post Warenpost International Premium. The available shipping methods and costs are shown at checkout. Shipping time depends on the destination country, chosen shipping method, and customs clearance.

Returns: You can return unopened, unused, and undamaged products within 14 days of delivery. For returns within Germany, we provide a return label for 5.95€ upon request. Returns from abroad must be organized and paid for by the customer.

We package carefully, lovingly, and environmentally friendly. The box, filling material, and greeting card are made from recycled paper, and even the packing tape can be disposed of in the paper recycling bin.
